Payload CMS as the single source of truth
Content — pages, blog posts, categories — lives in Payload CMS, a separate headless service. NeoSaaS never writes to its own content tables directly; they're populated only through Payload's own sync hooks. This keeps content editing decoupled from the application deploy cycle.
A real block-based page builder
18 block types cover most marketing and content needs out of the box: hero sections (full and split layouts), feature grids, pricing tables, testimonials, CTA banners, icon showcases, forms, a filterable blog list, raw HTML content blocks, article headers, a free-form visual design block, cross-reference cards, multi-column layouts (nestable), syntax-highlighted code blocks, a lighter feature list, and a logo cloud. Each block also has an independent style layer — background, spacing, alignment, borders — so visual tweaks never require touching the block's content schema.
An icon picker built into the editor
Blocks like Feature Grid and Icon Showcase have a real searchable icon picker with live preview — no code required to change an icon. It currently draws from the Lucide icon set; a separate sitewide icon-library preference exists in theme settings but only covers a handful of common icons.
Draft and publish, not "save and hope"
Every piece of content stays in draft — invisible on the live site — until explicitly published. There's no accidental-publish path: creating or editing content never makes it public by itself.
Live Preview
Editors can preview unpublished changes exactly as they'll appear on the live site, via a secured preview link, before publishing.
Media handling
Upload, crop, transform, and rename media directly from the editor, with alt-text management for accessibility and SEO.
